I have been in the nursing profession since 1982. The majority of that time has been inpatient at the bedside caring for pediatric patients. I have been an informal leader in various clinical roles as well as our organizations Shared Governance president in 2012 and 2013. That led me to take a manager role in ambulatory pediatrics. UVA Children's Hospital provides specialty and subspecialty services to patients throughout the state of Virginia and beyond.
