Laura N. Parrott is a clinical nurse manager with Centura health. Laura has 9 years of experience in nursing management with 6 of those years here at Saint Anthony Hospital.
Prior to SAH, Laura spent 3 years as a Cardiac Cath/Interventional manager, and her other 20 years of nursing were spent at the bedside caring for patients.
Laura has had experience in a wide range of programs and services – from Cardiac to Intensive care and observation medicine.
Laura specializes in helping staff to grow and to recognize their own strengths, by assisting them to reach their goals and removing road blocks for them.
After a successful career in bedside nursing, Laura now is a leader over four nursing units at SAH. She enjoys coaching her staff and watching them be successful with their own goals.
Laura is no stranger to management and has recently completed her Masters in Nursing Leadership and Management. She has also recently obtained her certification in the Nurse Executive specialty. She has raised 3 children, become an expert seamstress, and loves to bake for her staff and her family.
Laura's passion and strong interests are in the quality of healthcare. Having experience in so many areas and covering for 6 months as a Quality director Laura's next career goal is to explore a director position within Centura.
