I have been a nurse at Michigan Medicine for over 15 years gradually moving up the responsibility ladder leading to my recently obtained supervisor position.
My experience has been very focused on the surgical side of nursing as I started as a surgical technologist in the operating room while I was still going to nursing school. Being an eager to learn, detailed oriented person I searched out personal learning and career growth opportunities which lead me to my current role as a clinical nurse supervisor for an ambulatory care operating room.
