I have been working in healthcare since I was 15 years old. I started as a CNA when I was in HS. I have loved sharing myself with patients every since. I transitioned to EMT and then RN as I got older. I have been a nurse for 25 years. In that time, I learned hospice, med/surg, pre-op/pacu, ICU and ED. I have moved up in leadership over the last 13 years: charge nurse, assistant nurse manager, manager and now director. I have been in the director role for 5 years. I continue to love healthcare, even through its challenges.
