With 13 years of nursing experience, including the past 10 as a nurse practitioner, I bring a strong clinical foundation and a passion for advancing equitable care. I began my career in oncology, primarily surgical oncology, before transitioning to primary care, where I have served for the past seven years.
Currently, I am the Clinical Lead at a nurse-led federally qualified health center in an urban setting. In this role, I supervise two advanced practice providers, one registered nurse, and one licensed practical nurse, while partnering closely with our office manager on daily clinical operations. I work alongside our quality officer to consistently meet and exceed quality metric goals, and I actively cultivate partnerships with specialists across our health system to ensure equitable access to care for our diverse patient population.
I live in a small rural community southeast of Columbus, where I share a multi-generational home with my family. My calling to nursing has always been rooted in the belief that whole-person care must extend beyond the individual to address the environmental and social factors that influence health at both personal and community levels.
As I continue to grow as a nursing leader, my goal is to expand the reach and impact of my organization while inspiring and developing the next generation of nursing leaders
