Joni Watson, DNP, MBA, RN, OCN®, is a healthcare executive, oncology leader, author, consultant, and developer. Joni is the Co-Founder and Chief Vision Officer of The Creating Collective, a healthcare and leadership consulting firm; the Editor of the Clinical Journal of Oncology Nursing; and holds a Consulting Associate Faculty appointment at the Duke University School of Nursing, teaching in the Doctor of Nursing Practice Executive Leadership Specialty.
Joni holds her degrees from the University of Texas at Arlington (BSN), the University of Texas at Tyler (MSN & MBA), and Duke University (DNP). She is a member of the Dallas ONS Chapter. While she focuses on all aspects of the cancer care continuum, her oncology passions are cancer prevention, early detection, and patient navigation care models. She enjoys formally and informally growing new healthcare executives and believes leadership is a sacred privilege. She resides in Rockwall, TX, and enjoys creating, reading, writing, and spending time with her family.
